Baptism
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. Matthew 28:19

We are excited that you have chosen to have your child baptized! Baptism is more than a family tradition or simple ritual. Baptism washes away the stain of original sin, makes us children of God, and infuses our souls with sanctifying grace!
Baptisms are currently being celebrated at 12:30pm on the 3rd Sunday of each month. Parents are asked to call the parish office four to six weeks in advance to schedule both a parent preparation class as well as the baptism date. Godparents do not need to attend the class, but both parents are encouraged to attend. It is ok for only one parent to attend if childcare cannot be arranged.
In order to help you prepare for this special event in your family, we ask that you please call the parish office and speak with Maureen Peters (410-665-2111 ext. 101) or email her ([email protected]) in order to discuss the details and scheduling of the baptism.
