Welcome to the St. Ursula Soccer Website!
Welcome back to another great year of soccer!! We are beginning registration for the 2011 Fall outdoor season. New this year, you may register online at www.stursulaparish.org/soccer/registration or mail the registration form to the address at the bottom of the form by April 30, 2011. Walk-in registration will also be held on the following dates at Parkville Rec Center:
Wed. 4.6.11, 4.13.11 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Sat. 4.9.11 9:00 AM –11:00 AMWe are also supporting our program this year by having our coaches participate in formal certification and training to obtain national accreditation. This process will assist us in providing your children a positive soccer experience.
For the fourth straight year, the registration fees remain the same except that we will be offering a 10% discount to any family which registers more than one child. The Clinic fee is $35. The fee for U10, U12 and U14 leagues is $55. U18 league is $35. The fee section of the registration form details what these fees include. If a team elects to play in an additional league such as CMSA or a second tournament , the players on that team will need to pay an additional fee that will be determined once the league and referee fees are set.
Clinic players and U18 players will receive a t-shirt uniform that is included in their registration fee. For U10, U12, U14 travel players, a St. Ursula Soccer uniform is required. Players who played travel soccer in the Fall of 2010, and who elect to do so, may use their uniform again. Otherwise, uniforms may be purchased for $30, which includes a jersey, shorts, and socks. Uniform sizes tend to be a little small and samples will be available at registration for sizing purposes.
Also new this year, we are enhancing our fundraising efforts. We will be requiring each player to purchase $15 of raffle tickets with each registration. The tickets are then yours to sell or keep. The drawing will be on September 24th and the winner receives $500. Tickets will be distributed once practices start.
Practices start in August with games beginning on Labor Day weekend with a tournament and run until mid-November. Communication about practice start times and field locations will be sent in July.
It takes a large number of volunteers to have a successful soccer program, including board members, coaches, assistant coaches, fundraisers, and various other roles. We really need your help. If you can help in some way, please note this on the registration form.
Please register as soon as possible. Registrations received after April 30 cannot be guaranteed a spot. Please note that all registration and uniform fees are non-refundable.
We will have evaluations for the U10 CYO teams only in May and will notify all eligible players of the time and place as the time gets closer. Please attend as many evaluation sessions as possible.
