We are blessed to have so many people willing to put their time and talent at the service of God and the People of God at St. Ursula. Our many parish and school ministries and organizations could not function without the services of dedicated volunteers.
The Archdiocese of Baltimore and St. Ursula Parish are committed to providing a safe environment for all people, particularly our children and youth. Our volunteers are critical in helping the parish maintain this safe environment.
Archdiocesan policy requires that all volunteers:
- complete an Application for Volunteer Service
- review the Statement of Policy for the Protection of Children and Youth
- review the Code of Conduct for Church Personnel in the Archdiocese of Baltimore.
Archdiocesan policy requires that volunteers who will have substantial contact with children:
- complete an Application for Volunteer Service, including providing the names of three references
- complete a Volunteer Criminal History Screening Consent Form
- review the Statement of Policy for the Protection of Children and Youth
- review the Code of Conduct for Church Personnel in the Archdiocese of Baltimore
- participate in training regarding child abuse and the protection of children, including viewing the STAND video.
Archdiocesan Policy requires that volunteers who regularly drive others as part of their service must complete a Driving Record Check Consent Form.
Additional information on volunteer requirements and appropriate forms are available through the parish office and through the organization and ministry coordinators. They may also be found on-line (in PDF format) on the Archdiocesan Volunteer Page.
