Guiding Principles                   

 

Welcome to the new St. Ursula Soccer Website! This site will hopefully be a convenient and useful source of information about our soccer program. We will do our best to keep the site up to date and full of the information that our parents and players need. However, if you have questions, notice something that needs to be updated, or have other suggestions for this site, please don’t hesitate to email us at strursulasoccer@comcast.net to let us know.

Registration for the Fall outdoor 2008 season has begun. You may register by mail, or during one of our walk-in dates on April 9th, 17th, and 19th  at the Parkville Recreation Council, 8601 Harford Rd. The deadline for registration is April 30th. After that date, we cannot guarantee a spot, but you may check with us to see if we have openings at your child’s age group. For more information, see the Registration section of this website.

Please note that there are some important changes to note this year.

First, St. Ursula Soccer is now a full member of the Parkville Recreation Council. We have been an affiliate member for many years. Taking the step of becoming a full member will be beneficial to both the program and the Rec Council.

Second, our fee structure has changed, with reductions in the fee for both clinic and CYO Travel. Players will continue to purchase a personalized uniform (jersey, shorts, and socks) that they will keep, but a new uniform has been selected in response to requests to upgrade the uniform. Therefore, all players this year must purchase the uniform. Players may use their uniform for multiple years, provided that it continues to fit. To ensure you select the right size for your child, we recommend that you take advantage of the walk-in registration, at which time we plant to have uniform samples for sizing purposes.

Third, we will have player evaluations for the purpose of travel team (age U10 and up) formation. The dates and times for these evaluations are in the Evaluations section of the website, and also on the registration letter. There are no evaluations for clinic teams.

At St. Ursula Soccer, our emphasis is on fun and learning. Please read more on this website about the philosophy and principles that we strive to maintain.
